Seton Sands to Leith - 11.7 miles?!

Today we had a plan. The plan was to walk from Seton Sands to Musselburgh which is about 6 miles. Soooooo................... we jumped on a number 26 bus to take us to the start of our walk. The number 26 bus was extremely busy. It's a Sunday for goodness sake – where were all these people going? There were buggies on the bus, a wheelchair on the bus and three other doggies on the bus. It took more than an hour to get to Seton Sands which was the start of our walk.

However, once we started the walk it was fabulous. The sun was shining and the sky was blue and the sea was a glistening, shimmering, shiny colour and for most of the walk I was off my lead. Check out my route here.

…..............And then when we got to Musselburgh, Ann said, 'Molly, it's such a lovely day. Lets walk to Portobello and get the bus home from there.'

…...............And then when we got to Portobello, Ann said, 'Molly, it's such a lovely day. Let's walk to Seafield and get the bus home from there.'

…..................And then we got to Seafield, Ann said, 'Molly, it's such a lovely day. Let's walk to Leith Links and get a bus home from there.'

….................And then when we got to Leith Links Ann said, 'Molly, it's such a lovely day. Let's walk to Leith and get a bus home from there.'

Fortunately when we got to Leith we were on a direct bus route home so Ann said, 'Molly the number 16 bus is due in 6 mins. Let's go home.'

Phew............................ I love, love, love our big long walks...................... BUT 11.7 miles is a long way, even for a super fit collie like me???!!!
