A window in time

Today was the official season opening of our rowing club. Some 30 people rowed to a nearby village to have breakfast in a restaurant, joined by more rowers from a German rowing club.

The work on our club house has advanced well. Now the new, large windows towards the lake are installed and its much, much better than what we expected. Will be nice to sit there in future and looking outside.

Looking back it's time to say goodbye to 'Aloe' - the boat in the middle of the picture. The boat has now the (incredible) age of 58 years and has served various clubs during that time. It's also the boat I have learned to row many years ago. So it's a bit emotional to let it go.
