I took one or two photos in the garden this morning. This is a yellow flowering bush that comes up each year in the corner of the garden. We call it a pom pom bush, though I'm sure that's not its proper name, in fact giving Google a quick search I think it maybe a kerria japonica, though I could be wrong.

It's been a lovely day, weather-wise, plenty of sunshine. This afternoon we went into town for a coffee at Nero.
