Loch Leven, Kinross

One of these lovely sunny Spring days that looks like it should be warm, but isn't!  There was a real bite to the strong breeze as we walked round part of Loch Leven this afternoon and I wished I'd brought my woolly hat!  We didn't get as far round as we'd planned as my hip started playing up, but I enjoyed the bit I managed.

We travelled here via Dunning and over the Ochil Hills, stopping to take in the superb views across Strathearn to the Grampians (see Extras).  In one field there were at least a dozen goats and we stopped in the middle of the narrow road for me to take a picture.  There hadn't been another car on the road for miles, but of course as soon as we stopped there was a car right behind trying to overtake!!  There's just no consideration for Blippers:-)

Sat in the garden and had a cream tea on our return until the chilly breeze drove us inside again.  A few more degrees of heat will make all the difference.
