Elegant & Unconcerned

Sat in a tree near the house.

The heron, not me.  I've pretty much given up on tree sitting.

I love the details in the feathers in this (and the pose).

Last night was a weird night.  Couldn't sleep, couldn't stay awake and every time I drifted into sleep, I would think of something odd or jarriing, and I'd be awake again.  This went on until just before 7 or so, when I finally got 2 hours.

Early bed tonight.
