Gardening on the Edge!

Wonderfully bright and sunny day today and after the gales of yesterday it was relatively calm too. Went and did a bit of gardening for a friend. She lives right on the beach, and is sowing a big area of grass along the shore, behind where she's had a whole lot of wave breaking stone and block work put in.

It was a beautiful spot to work in, the sun shining on the turquoise sea, the dogs playing and bouncing round together, and good company over a super lunch of home baked barley and rye loaf, Manchego cheese, quince jelly and freshly picked salad leaves.
