Butterfly rescue

Another gorgeous day weather wise here in Essex.  Been out for a little walk with my parents round the gardens at RHS Hyde Hall - very busy there today!  Must be the lure of the Lindt Gold Bunny hunt they have on - no chocolates for adults though.... boo hiss!

Had to perform a rescue mission in the back garden this afternoon as noticed a 'pesky' (not the word i used at the time!) neighbourhood cat was chasing and then caught a butterfly. Managed to chase off the cat and thought it was too late for the poor butterfly but found it staggering around near the pond so got it some sugar water and thankfully it managed to fly off after  a short while! I am now a wildlife warrior lol!
