Commercial Street (pun)

Happy day! Batteries in the boat, glow plugs given a good ten seconds, and into life it did burst and chatter away. So that's one of the two main tests passed. The other is to see whether it still floats.
And then out to a private viewing of  a collection of contemporary art photographs at a prestigious gallery in Leith! And unlike most poncey do's, with their warm white wine and insipid prosecco, we were treated to fabulous beers courtesy of one of Fife's leading microbreweries, BrewShed beers. What a cracking event. And we didn't even have to buy any picchurs, though we did purchase a limited (he's selt three) edition book.  Onwards to the Cameo Bar in Leith with an advance party (advanced in years) to await the arrival of the artist....
