Rainbow at Sturral Head
We were lucky enough to get caught in just the one shower but it didn't matter as we were too busy photographing rainbows! Our walking book described this hike as the most spectacular coastal walk in Ireland, I think a few places could make that claim but it certainly was a stunning walk from Port to the signal tower above Glencolumbkille. Sturral Head was breathtaking, A classic mountain shaped rock atatched to the mainland by a narrow precipitous path ED walked out along it almost to the summit, I looked on heart in my mouth from the edge of the cliffs and took some pictures spot ED if you can in one of the extra pictures!
