Wyperserfontein, The Old Derelict "Plough Inn"...

We had a wonderful lunch and wander picking mushrooms after lunch at a friends hobby farm at Stanley....they live in Riwaka..
On the return journey to Nelson we spotted this old 1868 derelict Inn which had been a hotel, family residence,a storage shed and even a home for  bees.! Built of pit sawn native timber ( white pine ) it stopped us in our tracks......so much history all written up behind glass for us to read......Thank you for the stars and hearts for the caterpillar in its soft bed, a lovely surprise to be on the front page......
