Lunch To Go...BeepBeep!

Spent the day at the Desert Botanical Garden just outside of Phoenix, AZ. This Botanical Garden was rated as the 4th Best Botanical Garden in the U.S.! And it certainly lives up to it's fame! I had tried all day, in vain, to get a shot of a Roadrunner. As we were getting ready to leave, I mentioned to a Garden Volunteer that I had not been able to even see a Roadrunner. "Dear", she said sweetly, "You'll see one as you walk out of the Garden." And sure enough...we did...not only see one of these very interesting birds but she had a freshly caught lizard in her mouth!  Do take a look at the first *extra* to see her running really fast with her lunch in her mouth! *extra* #2 is the top of a Saguaro Cactus. It looks to me like a piece of sculpture!  And *extra" # 3 is a very handsome male Quail. And the adventure continues! :)
