Travel safe
So, I was walking to the gym and freezing my butt off, trieng to find something to capture in an inspiring photo. It is only about ten minutes walk, but I still managed to take around 30 photos on my way (okay, maybe I stopped a couple times, so, the walk took like 15 minutes this time). I was photographing practicly everything that stood on my way: trees, street lights, trash cans...I even stopped at the empty playground and photographed swings, a sand-box, seesaw and a weird rocking animal. There was this one couple walking by, as I was still in the middle of my session, staring at me and muttering something, probably thinking I was some twisted perv padding about at the dark playground taking photos of everything...
I actually got some nice shots, before my fingers became frozen (even I say so myself) and it was hard to decide which one of them I would put here. The one I finally chose wasn't by any standard best of the quality, but I wanted that the photo would have somekinda message in it, instead of just looking nice, so this one showing a frozen zebra crossing sign illuminated by my cam's flash and a lonely streetlamp, appealed to me the way I was ready to forgive it's poor photographic quality.
This world we live in may sometimes be cold and dark and dangerous, but fortunately there are some signs and some light to guide as through the paths covered with black ice and potholes. So, travel safe, guys!
