A corner of the Apothecary's shop

It has been a beautiful early September day here today. Our market was buzzing with visitors but with not so many young children as school has started for most of them. Hope all those parents with children who have had first days at school have all survived - kids as well!! My two daughters' first days at school were in Hong Kong some 42 years ago - but it is still fresh in my mind. No 1 daughter, Lucy, went off at age 3 in a big white RAF bus to her Nursery School. She was confident then and is just the same now - it was just me who trembled as these little people were whisked away to the hands of strangers (teachers!!)

Our Local Health food shop sells much, much more than just tea and I am a very regular customer there. The flowers are from Amanda's garden (next door neighbour) who I blipped on 2.8.12 cutting her flowers for distribution to local shops and other venues.
