5 minutes...

... from my house, is this lovely view. To the left is Brayton Barff, a piece of managed woodland which is a lovely 30-45 minute walk. Before I went on holiday, I walked around every night, and I must get back into doing that whilst the weather (and the light) is with me!

Sometimes I still have to pinch myself and remind myself that I live here - well, not here, obviously, because the middle of a field isn't a suitable place for a grown woman to live. And I don't want to share my home with livestock (do horses count as livestock?).
