These girls have had a lovely time together this afternoon.

I had asked katie to try have a lie in this morning. Whilst she did wake at 620, to her credit she tried to go back to sleep. For a few minutes. By 7 she had decided to start music. She tinkered on the piano happily, just "messing" around, exploring as she does. She went through her clarinet pieces brilliantly. She had a good time on her piano pieces, though she seemed to forget how to play a phrase in her best piece! We did fix it though.

Band this morning. I dropped her off at the car park for the first time today, though I did hover and watch her to the door. I arrived back to pick her up in perfect time and she ran out the building as I walked up the path. They'd inexplicably finished early and had been sat around with a couple of other kids.

We came home for lunch and ended up snuggling together watching Shrek 2. She spent some more time on her piano before we got ready to go to Lydi's birthday party at the swimming pool. I didn't go in but I helped get all the kids sorted & in then watched. They had a wonderful time! Tea and cake for them all before we went to youth club. Where these three friends continued to have a great time together. With a theme of easter, the kids had a whole host of sugar, chocolate and fun. A great day!
