A Host of....

...golden daffodils by the River Wear. I was really impressed by the numbers of people jogging here this morning. Apparently people gather to run 5 km at 9am every Saturday morning, round Riverside Park. Such a variety of sizes and ages, it was a great atmosphere. And then the contrast of visiting Mum in the home.... but at least she managed a weak smile today as we left. The carers in the home are angels, looking after so many people who really do not "live" anymore.

Thank you for all your messages of support. So many of us in Blipland are experiencing similar situations, inevitable with our ageing population. Goodness knows what we will be like if we reach 90 ( Mum's birthday is tomorrow). Still cameras hanging round our necks, possessively, no doubt!
