I just loved the colours

It was on the doorstep as I set off for a short afternoon walk.  It wasn't my best photography outing, though I did see a small orange butterfly, possibly a skipper, which I never got close enough to identify and as I crossed the field I spotted a hare at the far side, which quickly disappeared.  My other choice of image was a close up of yellow lichen on the branches of a willow tree, down by the stream.  Maybe I'll save that one and photograph it again on another day.
