Persistent Winter!

With these icicles still hanging from the porch it's clear the forest is not ready for field work yet. We therefore enjoyed a calm before the storm, walking over to the traditional coffee break (Marten bringing his own tea, see extra) and saying goodbyes to our friends here, even S joined! Little did we know that car trouble would follow - turns out Cutie needs more repairs to be inspected and the dealer insulted her with offering just $300 for her!  Argh, major bummer! The car is really worth more than that, but the question is, do we find somebody soon enough who knows that?
