Makes you feel old ....

When stuff you have/had is in a museum exhibition ... I've heard many folk say this down the years, in my museums bod role. This bit of the 1960s display touched just that nerve! I remeber my sisters and I persuading mum to get a new, light weight hairdryer when her version of this started smelling distinctly of burning bakelite/plastic!

We were on a last minute birthday weekend in York and had a great time. Not been here for years ... a d wouldn't have been this year if not for a baggage handlers strike in Berlin!!! Still - every cloud and all that ...
