Powdered quaker

I am having great fun at the moment running the moth trap, and thus far it is a good year with good numbers of moths ( some years are really slow to start with hardly any moths around at all in March).
This beauty is a Powdered quaker Orthosia gracilis , which although occuring widly in England, Wales and Ireland only comes to my trap in very small numbers - and some years not at all.
I simply couldn't resist adding another shot of the Hairy-footed flower bee as my extra. I apprehended this male in my garden and after a slight chilling he posed beautifully for me, showing his 'hairy foot' off to perfection.
