Dark Thistle

The 2nd Dark Thistle took place on Fairy Knowe and Doon Hill (Aberfoyle). It was very wet and all the streams and rivers were swollen to almost bursting. The slogan for the race is "UK Night O reinvented. Introducing a Scandinavian concept night O championship event to the shores of the UK. Real Night O in Real terrain". A mass start 9.7km course with butterflys and gaffles. Came back absolutely covered in mud and scratches, but great fun on a Friday night. Some of the boys then camped before tomorrow's race... I didn't fancy that.
