A magpie at our table

I visited a friend who has a family of magpies quite close to his house (I have blipped them before).  He does feed them a little mince meat each day and the result is this.  They have no fear and land on the table watching the door for his emergence.  The glass table top makes this fellow look as though he's skating on ice.  A little awkward looking.
Still too committed to be able to comment much so hesitate to turn my own comments back on - although I do miss you all. Thanks for those who still have continued to follow my journal. I really appreciate your steadfastness.
