Do ant's have a right of way rule?

I've been watching these ants today climbing up and down this shrub and they all appear to pass each other to the left.

Do you think Continental ones do so on the other side?

I shall be blipping this flower when it opens. It's another one that I've not been able to identify from those that were in the garden before we moved here - which was only 12 years ago so I'm in no rush for an answer...

I dodged the food and drink challenge today. "My favourite food" might be too much of a giveaway.
