Barrel or Dustbin lid Jellyfish

This jellyfish is the largest in British waters, this one was around 2ft across the dome. Feeds on Plankton and not an uncommon sight washed up on the shore

At least I think this is what it is as I have not seen one before so if anyone knows about these things please confirm with me. I found it washing about near the rocks when I was down looking for a blip.

Torrential rain this morning and when I went to the school Easter service we were met with a waterfall coming down the school steps. The sun came out this afternoon so I got my walk after all.
