Happy Friday

Pottered about the garden in the morning. There are such a lot of gorgeous things out there. This is my one surviving pulsatilla or pasqueflower. If I had the money and the space I would buy an alpine house and have more. I planted some broad beans in the green house and Mr EAnn cleaned one garden bench and set about refurbishing another. He also went to our local hardware shop looking for fork handles. They only had one - the "to be ordered in" board had fork handles on it :-D
This afternoon we planted our first early potatoes and pruned gooseberry buses and weeded under them. I have the lacerations to prove it. It really does feel like we are allotmenteers now.
