Filling Up

I came across this steam engine apparently filling up with water from the stock water race, which is obscured behind the uncut grass in the foreground. By zooming in on the photo I could read the makers- McLaren of Leeds.

This morning’s sunshine lasted only a couple of hours, but it was followed by a gentle and warm nor’wester.
