Me and my shadow

Annie's last day before starting school today and as excited as she is about tomorrow she has rather enjoyed having a couple of peaceful days where she can do what she wants without Jack around to spoil her plans. Today it involved riding her bike and playing at the park. It is lovely weather for both and she was delighted with the shadows today.

I'm going to miss my little shadow tomorrow, for the first time in eight years there will be no little one here during the day...I'm sure I'll get over it soon enough though and won't be able to wait to shoo them out of the door on Friday morning!
