Avenue Of London Plane Trees.

They line the path that crosses Jesus Green from the Locks to Victoria Avenue, Cambridge. The path is due to be widened to make more room for cyclists and pedestrians, also access for maintenance vehicles. The new path will be constructed  with a cellular sub base system which will protect the trees from the present  compaction of soil on the roots, by spreading the load. After a stroll along the river tow path, this is a pleasant walk into the city. I love this park as I have been playing here and meeting friends since my schooldays.
