The Play Area

The street where my parents live, has a big play area in the middle of it. Apparently when the houses were built in the 60s there was supposed to be a playpark in it, but the builders went bust so it never materialised. My sister and I used to play in it a lot as kids, with the other local children though as it was a safe place to run around and make dens,

Sadly it's incredibly overgrown now down the bottom, although someone does cut the grass at the back, so Ethan & Lucas were able to kick a ball around there today with Grandpa.
