Abstract architecture

I have spent most of the day back in Balfron, first to have a check-up at the chiropractor's, then to hang around for several hours while the village ironmonger found time to cut 20 new keys for the front door of our building.

Said building was originally a church, built in the 18th century of sandstone, some of which has been eroded over the years by the weather. For Abstract Thursday I've  blipped a small section of the outer wall and given it a boost to make it a bit more interesting.

There was a problem with the lock of the main door last weekend - it was jammed - and the local builder managed to put in a new barrel yesterday, so we (the royal 'we') then had to get two new keys cut for every flat, plus the postman and the cleaner. And Uncle Tom Cobley and all.

Fortunately my new neighbour downstairs has been a great help in my absence and has agreed to distribute the keys so that the entrance will once again be secure.
