Fire alarms

The fire alarm went off at 1:09am (which is how I ended up with this picture). So my roommate and I got out of bed, garbed a jacket and our keys and made our way to the stairs...... by the time the alarm stopped at 1:22am we had only made it down maybe four flights of stairs (note to self, in the event of a fire take the side stairs not the main stairs). Then there was an alarm outside that went on for an hour, so we didn't end up falling back asleep until after 2:30.... and then we had class at 8:30.

A comment on emergency services here: people don't move to the side or get out of the way for firetrucks or ambulances. I don't get it.
