Just waiting ........

...... for the right moment!

Apologies to those of you who hate spiders (me included - and Mum, I'm VERY sorry!!) but I was taking photos of a butterfly and saw this spider and ant (I think it's an ant) - they were playing a game of hunt and seek (as opposed to hide and seek - I'm not sure the ant was a willing playmate) - I snapped off three shots and the ant disappeared into the leaves - no breakfast for Mr Spider!!

Shot number one - waaaaay out of focus, shot number three - no ant!! This was number two, slightly out of focus but couldn't resist ..... cropped and sharpened to show the hideous spidery detail. At least he wasn't too big and I managed not to touch him with the camera lens!

Urghhhhhhhhh - wow, I hate spiders and am so proud of myself for getting this close - no macro lens!!!

More spidery on large if you can bear it!

Thank you all for loving Little Froglet enough to send him hopping onto the spotlight page yesterday - he would be proud if he knew!

No blip tomorrow (and possibly not Friday either) - heading to work in Germany late tonight. See y'all Saturday morning.
