Locked Out!!!

We underestimated the impact of having World Champion status....by the time we got to Phoenix, the Cubbies had a full house.

The parking attendants were incredible, though.   They let us drive through the parking lot, park for half an hour so we could go in and take photos, and then helped us drive out again against traffic, and wouldn't take a thing.

Al had time to go to the gift shop and get a couple of souvenirs, we took the pics he wanted, and he got to see the replica Wrigley Field sign through the bars........he didn't take it well.

Next year we will know better!!!

However, fate was kind and gave him a consolation prize at the casino.   We have been playing video poker for the past 40 years when we can, and today is the first time he has had a royal flush dealt to him!!!(extra).

Tonight it is meeting and greeting old friends and new ones.  Thank you to everyone who has written comments, sent stars and hearts!!  Obviously our dance card is pretty full, so please accept my apologies if I can't comment!!
