Swan Lake

I stopped to take this picture of a young swan on the edge of what we call our "Fake Lake" while I was on my way to choir practice tonight.  It was getting quite dark and this is heavily cropped.

The lake is really no more than a depression in a field and it fills up after heavy rain.  For much of the year it is dry.  It does attract water fowl.
