Nature
Earlier this afternoon I heard a huge commotion and looked out back to see that a Coopers Hawk had taken a grackle under one of our pine trees.
The poor grackle was still alive at this moment but would not be for long.
The hawk first ripped out a bunch of feathers, then took it's catch to a nearby tree to finish the meal.
It might seem cruel but so it goes in nature, the circle of life. Today the hawk will eat but some other creature has to pay the price.
