I saw this in one of the newspapers today and it rather nicely illustrated the way so many will be feeling.

Article 50 has been triggered; for good or bad. The milk has been spilled and we must all make the best of it, wherever we live in Europe, be it the UK or elsewhere.

I hope and pray that whatever the economic benefits (or otherwise), the real and tangible cultural benefits that we have enjoyed from the breaking down of European national boundaries in the form of improved tolerance for different cultures and the rights of the individual will not be lost.
