The Cutter
Away from cameras and lenses is another dimension of photographic equipment to do with printing and mounting the image for display. I spent a good part of yesterday and today mounting a total of seven A3 size prints on 50x40 cm pieces of mountboard.
Here is the business end of my cutter, produced by the excellent US firm called Logan. It allows me to cut mountboard to size and also to cut a rectangular aperture with a bevelled edge, the print is attached to adhesive card which is then stuck to the back of the mountboard.
Hazards? The occasional cut finger, and finding the measurements are wrong and needing to repeat the exercise.
