A rainy day with Fred

Living with a one year old means always having an audience when I shower, it means having to keep the toilet brush on the window sill and needing elastic bands to hold all the cupboard doors shut. 
It means felt tip pen marks all over the table and never being able to find a biro. 
It means there are little hands to help with every task , from flushing the loo to lighting the fire. 
It means spending most of the time making silly noises and funny faces and the rest of the time laughing. 
It means being met at the door with sheer undisguised delight whether I've been out for an hour or a week.
It means sloppy kisses and snuggly cuddles and always having someone to share my dinner with. 
It means big big love, and every minute is really special.
