Siskins

After several days of lovely weather today has been very wet. It was therefore a good opportunity to stay in and catch up with the chores and the admin. Amongst the many visitors to the bird feeders were a pair of siskin - female at the front, more colourful male at the back. They are particularly partial to nyger seed and take it in turns with the goldfinch to eat.
