Toads in amplexus, the male on top, the female ready to spawn. They were almost at the lochan!
Another lovely morning, with the calls of Skylarks, Curlew and Meadow Pipits echoing across the moor. On the lochan, there wereTeal, Little Grebe, Redshank and Snipe. The toads were making their way to lay.
