Koh Lanta Noi

In April 2016, the bridge between the two islands of Koh Lanta was finally complete. Before that, you had to get two ferries to arrive from the mainland and now you only need one. They don't want to connect to the islands to the mainland with a bridge because they're worried about over-development.
On my previous trips to Koh Lanta, I'd only experienced Koh Lanta Noi (the smaller, northern island with zero tourism) on a bus when arriving and leaving, but now with the new bridge and scooters, we were about to explore!

We spent most of the day over there, seeing some relatively untouched areas. Lots more wildlife (including huge lizards, snakes and groups of monkeys) and interesting villages. I loved it!
