The Night of the Diva

A lovely job at The Barbican today followed by a dash into Soho to hear Katherine Ellis perform at Jazz After Dark in Greek Street.

I haven't seen her for a long time so it was a treat to hear her sing her signature form of jazz and soul. Katherine glows when she performs. 

The venue was the narrowest jazz bar I have ever been in. When I arrived the 5 man warm up act had fitted them and their instruments into a space the size of a bath tub.
