First Daffodils '17

The massive snow is receding. The floods are threatening but we are seeing the actual SOIL that has been under cover for 4 or 5 months.
I was surprised to see this clump of daffodils out . It had been growing under feet of snow all this time. Although it is crimped and bent, daily the leaves and flowers will straiten out. 
Ah, spring gives us hope.

That white at the bottom is a pile of leftover snow.
