Calne (Saturday 25th March 2017)

Spent quite a portion of the day making phone calls to try to get the boiler fixed as the pilot light kept going out. Nothing could be done until Monday so I wandered into town to get some fresh air. This is the Marden as seen from Church Street with the library in the background and shops on the Terraces to its right, as seen with my new 15-30mm lens at its widest.

Marvin Gaye - This Love Starved Heart Of Mine (It's Killing Me) (recorded June 1967, Los Angeles CA and Detroit MI)
Although recorded in 1967, due to some profoundly cloth ears at Tamla it existed only on an acetate until 1994. In that form it became extremely popular in the Northern Soul clubs in the North of England, and was included in the film Northern Soul, the soundtrack to which I was listening to on this day.
