DIY filters (EP3)

Thanks to Marcus for this weeks challenge
Today I used a pair of purple tights/stockings stretched across a 50mm macro lens for this portrait of my daughter and in the extra it's the same idea but I used a skin tone pair of tights similarly stretched over the lens with a loose piece of stocking hanging down on the right hand side. 

I like the softening effect the thin material produces, there's definitely more to explore with this particular DIY filter especially with portraiture.
