A Clear Patch

Success! The whole of this strawberry patch has now been dug over, cleared of couch grass, manured and about 70 little strawberry plants are re-planted. Now I'm hoping for some rain overnight or tomorrow to let them get re-established. With a bit of luck we'll get a decent crop this year and all the effort will be worth it.
Just back from the tenpin AGM and all the changes that the committee proposed were accepted with very little discussion or dissent. Unbelievable! Let's justb hope they prove to be good changes and we don't get a roasting next year!
