Day 7

Our 'farthest north' day today! We went to Vadso for a very short walk then Kirkenes where we had a trip to the Russian border which was so interesting. The photo was taken just above Kirkenes looking down onto the Barent sea. Our next brief stop was at Vardo where we welled up to a fort and saw a snow fort adjacent to it! Then Batsfjord - must have been the coldest day in the universe there! Last stop was Berlevag.
We had another brief view of the Northern Lights this evening.
