St Philip's Cathedral, Birmingham
I had an appointment at the optometrist in Birmingham today so took the opportunity to have a look inside the cathedral. It is very different to our local cathedral in Lichfield; much wider and with two storeys of seating. The nave is very light. There are large clear glass windows down either side but at each end are very bright and predominantly red coloured stained glass windows. My picture show the window at the west end beneath which are the cathedral's nativity figures.
