Findhorn
Continuing my attempt to catch up with my postings following the over indulgence on Saturday.
The day seemed to a mix of cloud and sunshine. Based on previous experience I thought if there was likely to be a warm sunny oasis anywhere it would be Findhorn on the Moray firth.
This turned out to be a bit of a disappointment since while there was some sunshine there was also a equal amount of cloud. Worse, unless from the point of view from those sailing, there was a strong and quite cool wind.
We had a walk along the coast, and a period of rest and recuperation from the wind in the Kimberly Arms. Afterwards we retired to enjoy a Sunday roast in the evening. It was good get warm, even our selection of a table in the restaurant was influenced by our desire for warmth.
