Sage!

One of the few plants, that we seem able to grow very easily, is sage. Every year, without fail, in late March-early April, we have a magnificent display of these purple flowers backed by an abundance of leaves.....and a huge amount of bees!

It seems strange that many people, when Sage is mentioned, think only of the crisp, dried, small leaves, that are sold in tubs or packets ......whereas for us it is a stong plant that spreads easily, and has an abundance of purple flowers.......
it seems fairly resistant to drought, and loves warm sunshine!....rather like a lot of people that I know!!
